Ethnic design has many fabrics of many colors and this is where people who like collecting articles made by craftsmen from all over the world and display them in the room at totally happy. Traditional handcraft articles are mostly homey here and do not seem out of place at all. This style is for people who have strong tastes and preferences for various parts of the world and like to bring a piece of them to their own home.

Asian style is quite popular nowadays in many homes. One of its main characteristics is the appearance of cherry blossoms in fabrics and other materials. The cherry tree is a strong symbol in some Asian countries, hence its popularity in this furniture style. It is very easy to include the cherry blossom in the home furnishing as an added accent, all you need to do is hunt for some realistic looking cherry blossom stems that are available in various crafts stores and bring them as an extra piece to the room.

Setting the right mood for the rooms in your home are important. You need to think about what theme your trying to execute and how your going to do it in the best way possible. Many of figurines that are made in africa are made to represent concepts to do with family. Your living room is where all the family get together, so I’m sure you’ll want to make it a warm family environment. Its where you keep the family photos on the mantle piece and is ideal for an African figurine which would compliment well with the idea of a close family.

Me I lost my virginity on my living room sofa. It was two weeks after I turned 13 and the girl I did it with was 12. I was tutoring her for science class. She got pregnant but I am the one who is raisng our daughter. I am now 17. So where did the rest of you lose it and how old were you?

My daughter is fine all day. She only coughs at night. It doesn’t matter where she sleeps, we’ve had her sleep in different places in her bed, on the living room sofa, in our bed, and her sisters bed and it still happens. No one in the house smokes and she had asthma in the past. And it ONLY happens at night!!! Someone please help me!!!

I just bought a taupe couch for my living room and all other furniture is black. The walls are painted white/off-white and those do not gel with the sofa (dull look). What color should I paint my wall? Thanks for the suggestions

I want to reupholster my dinning chairs to somehow match with the living room, since it’s like one big open space.
the sofas are blue, tan and burgundy squares. the chairs are parsons. Also I would like to make some pillows for the couch that match with the dinning chairs. What pattern should i use?
I was thinking flowers for the pillows, will that look good with squares? what about the same for the chairs?
